From the muddy trench warfare of Northern Europe during WW1 to the steamy jungles of Burma in WW2, Sikh regiments were at the forefront of many crucial military actions. This illustrated talk by military historian Sarinjit Singh will explore the significant role they played in battles across the world. Includes a screening of the short film, ‘The Prisoners Song' by Michael Singh, which tells the story of a WW1 Sikh POW, followed by a Q & A.
