Photographer and writer Tim Smith will give an illustrated talk about the ‘The Grand Trunk Road - From Delhi to the Khyber Pass', his most recent book which was published in early 2011.

This book of photographs, texts and personal testimonies explores the history of The Grand Trunk Road, the oldest, longest, and most famous highway in southern Asia. Tim will highlight visits to important Sikh sites in Amritsar, Lahore and Peshawar, as well as his work with Anglo Asians in towns such as Jalandhar and Ludhiana.
