To celebrate Anglo Sikh Heritage Week, the British Museum is exhibiting a display of Sikh Coins, recently researched and catalogued by ASHT volunteer, Paramdip Kaur Khera .

This talk will focus on the coins issued by Maharajah Ranjit Singh during the Sikh Empire 1801-1849, whilst discussing the Sikh collections in the British Museum. This is rare opportunity to see some of the hidden Sikh treasures in the British Museum’s collection.

The temporary exhibition will be on public view from 20th August to 20th October 2006
