Osborne House

Osborne House was built for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a private home. The Durbar Room, designed and built by Bhai Ram Singh, is said to be the most stunning of the state rooms having been done in the most exquisite of Sikh decorative techniques.

One of English Heritage's most popular tourist attractions, Osborne House is home to the famous Winterhalter portrait of Maharajah Duleep Singh along with various other Sikh portraits.
